On December 4-6, 2025, the 2nd Eurasian Congress of Thoracic Surgeons "Training, Experience, Professionalism" (hereinafter referred to as the congress) will be held in Ufa with the participation of leading specialists of the event: Chief Thoracic Surgeon of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Professor Yablonsky P.K., Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Porkhanov V.A., Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Pavlov V.N., Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Avdeev S.N., Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Parshin V.D.
More than 700 congress participants from the Russian Federation, China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, the Republic of Belarus, Iran, Turkey, Tajikistan are expected.

The congress events will promote closer international cooperation on current issues of thoracic surgery, exchange of accumulated experience, development and improvement of the quality of specialized, including high-tech medical care for the population, as well as advanced training of thoracic surgeons, oncologists, phthisiologists, pulmonologists, specialists in radiation and functional diagnostics, clinical specialists, and students.

The congress will consider current issues of the most important aspects of the state of specialized thoracic care, consolidation of expert and scientific potential in the field of specialized oncological, phthisiological and pulmonological care, creation of effective disease prevention programs.

A collection of abstracts will be published based on the congress materials.
